The Area
The immediate surrounding area offers walking along the tree-lined canal and river banks, the unspoilt village of Couze and the nearby small town of Lalinde. Lalinde has many more facilities yet retains its original character. Apart from numerous shops and a Thursday market, Lalinde has banks, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, an information centre and—of course—more patisseries. Excellent wines are available locally from vineyards, domaines, caves, local shops and supermarkets—at very reasonable prices.
